Central Arizona College invites the families and community members of Pinal County to lasso in the fun of the Wild West.
CAC Family Flicks: Classics Cinema presents Born to the West, this Friday, Feb. 10, at CAC’s Florence Center. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. in Room A106 of the center that is located at 800 E. Butte Avenue in Florence.
CAC is hosting this classic movie night, free of charge, along with some popcorn.
This 1937 classic Western is packed with action and romance, starring everyone’s favorite cowboy - John Wayne.
In Born to the West, a drifting cowboy is persuaded to settle down in a job as a cowhand after setting eyes on a breath-taking southern belle (Marsha Hunt).
After being duped in a card game, Dare Rudd (John Wayne) loses all of the cattle drive’s money. He is put to the test of taking responsibility and defeating the corrupt saloon owner.
